Proactive monitoring and strategic adjustments to reduce overspending.

Discover new savings opportunities with every cycle.

Self-Funding Model

Self-Funding Model:

Savings achieved are reinvested into further optimization.

Optimization services become self-funding over time, continuously driving added value.

High-Touch Expertise

High-Touch Expertise:

Access to licensing expertise and negotiation support.

Stay audit-ready with proactive license management and vendor compliance.

Flexible Program Objectives

Flexible Program Objectives:

Customizable service scope, cadence and vendor focus based on evolving business needs.

Dynamic focus to address unexpected events like audits.

Move Beyond Legacy Licensing Services

The software landscape has changed, but software licensing services have lagged behind. With static project scopes built for static software environments, traditional MSPs offer limited flexibility, low realized value, and reactive remediation.

What engagement options does 2Data offer?

We offer two engagement models:

‍Once-Off Optimization: Targeted, high-impact work focused on solving a specific challenge over a short time period, typically around a contract milestone.

‍Optimization as a Service (OaaS): A comprehensive service providing continuous optimization of your Microsoft, SAP, or Oracle environments. Both are designed to deliver measurable value, but due to the ongoing engagement of OaaS, it is able to drive continuous returns and add strategic value via proactive, in-cycle optimization rather than just at a point in time or around an agreement milestone.

You can engage 2Data at any point in time for either of these service plans, but they are best suited for different scenarios:

Once-Off optimizations are ideal around key agreement or contract milestones – think renewal periods, true-ups, or audits – when targeted expertise is needed to drive decisions or ensure optimization and cost savings.

Optimization as a Service (OaaS) can be engaged at any point in your software lifecycle to provide full-spectrum, ongoing support for both key milestones and routine optimization and management. For this reason it’s better suited to yield proactive cost control and continuous improvement above and beyond milestone-driven interventions.

With a Once-Off engagement, we take the lead on a defined milestone (such as a renewal or contract negotiation), providing targeted support to deliver a successful outcome. Outside of that scope (e.g., mid-term audits or unexpected true ups), your internal team remains fully responsible unless additional support is contracted.

With Optimization as a Service (OaaS), we provide end-to-end support across the entire software lifecycle. From routine optimization to unplanned events, we act as an extension of your team, reducing internal workload and ensuring optimal continuity, preparedness, and expert guidance at every stage.

Absolutely! Depending on the maturity of your SAM program and your organizational goals, we may even suggest a longer-term project to drive more value.

While our Optimization as a Service (OaaS) model is designed for long-term value, some clients choose to begin with a one-time engagement to address an immediate need. If ongoing support becomes relevant, we then build a flexible, tailored model that allows for variation in services year-over-year. Our goal is to create a long-term approach that aligns with your evolving priorities.

A Once-Off engagement delivers value by optimizing at a key moment, typically around a renewal or contract milestone. This ensures you’re in the best possible position at that time. However, if their SAM program doesn’t fundamentally change after the milestone passes, clients can experience inefficiencies creeping back in that erode savings over time.

With Optimization as a Service (OaaS), value is continuous. You stay in a peak optimization state year-round, avoiding savings erosion and staying ahead of vendor-driven changes. Over time, this consistent support enables a self-funding model, where ongoing savings help fund future optimization – creating compounding value rather than one-off wins.
